I had a wonderful weekend at the Hub Boutique Hotel in Port Elizabeth. The room was spacious and clean, and I really appreciated the mini fridge and the nice balcony. The parking area was secure and ample, which was a big plus. However, the noise from nearby guests during the night was quite disruptive, affecting my ability to sleep well.

Rooms
7.0
The room was neat, clean, and spacious, but there were damp issues by the bathroom. It wasn't soundproof, so I could hear conversations from the reception area.
Service
6.0
While the lady at reception was very pleasant, there seemed to be a lapse in controlling unruly guests returning late and causing disturbances.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located, very close to the Walmer Park shopping center and not too far from the airport.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was average with a decent spread but could definitely offer a wider variety. The quality of the ingredients could be improved as well.
Facilities
6.0
The parking area was great and secure, but overall, other facilities were quite limited.

I had a lovely time at the Hub Boutique Hotel during my business trip. The stunning sunset views and well-kept pool were highlights for me, and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are cozy, although a little warm without air conditioning. The English breakfast was delicious, but having more options would be great. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in PE, especially for anyone needing a peaceful retreat while still being close to city access.

5.0/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the sunset view was stunning, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. On the other hand, the noise from other guests was unbearable, and the breakfast left much to be desired. While the room was clean, it felt dated and could use some upgrades. Overall, there are great aspects, but significant improvements are needed in several areas.

Rooms
5.0
The room was clean but felt dated and lacked modern amenities like air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable, but I did find a used condom wrapper underneath the bed, which was quite unsatisfactory.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking, as staff did not address the noise from unruly guests. I had to do things myself like ironing, which was inconvenient.
Location
7.0
The location is beautiful, offering a lovely view of the sunset, but it was also quite noisy due to guests coming back late. It had some charm despite this.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was disappointing; the scrambled eggs were undercooked, and the selection was limited. The muffins were the only highlight, so I can't say it was a great dining experience.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has potential with a nice pool area, but overall the facilities felt outdated and in need of an upgrade.

I had a very mixed experience at this hotel. The location is quite good, close to shopping and dining options, making it convenient. The rooms, however, left much to be desired with issues like poor cleanliness and odors. The service was decent, but there were some noticeable shortcomings during my stay. Overall, while there were some positives, improvements are definitely needed to elevate this place.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was unfortunately quite dark and had a lingering smell. There was noticeable noise from a nearby storage area in the morning, which made it hard to enjoy my time there.
